About Me:

We may know each other from the farmers market, the town hall, or even the concert from last week. Either way, I am happy to see you again! I am a friendly foodie from the Boonies, and my name is Miranda. I have a heart for sustainability, a drive for social justice, and a devoted mindset.

My research focuses on sesne of place and alternative economic activity and how that ma better the health of communitites and thier ecosystems. The most valuable lesson from The College of Fine and Applied Arts is to keep an open mind and a humble heart. I graduate Appalachian State University in December 2017, but I will continue to listen and learn to gain knowledge in every aspect of life.
